American Pie 4 (2012)

Love it, or hate it, American Pie 4 will happen in 2012. Now, I suppose the biggest news is that a few of the original cast will be making a return to the franchise, finally. I have a few updates and goodies on the film since I originally posted this two years ago, so its time for to give this movie article new life.

While details are still early, we are told that Seann William Scott is on board again, as is Jason Biggs, Chris Klein and Tara Reid. Matter of fact, the entire cast and crew is back for the newest American Pie Movie, and we even have a release date now. Well, when you think about it.. why wouldn’t they all be back?

American Pie 4 Presents: Family Reunion

The working name of the movie is ‘Family Reunion’ .In American Pie 4, the friends are all in their 30′s now, and we can assume the story will be centered around Jim and Michelle’s pregnancy. The friends all reunite for the birth and a weekend of memories, when all hell breaks loose. On a side note, Harold & Kumar” creators Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg have
come on board to direct. What are your thoughts on this? This frightens me, as I felt the Harold & Kumar series went into a huge tailspin recently, and lost it’s originality. Ii fear Hurwitz and Schlossberg will destroy the American Pie franchise, I hope I am wrong.
However, it has been decided they are going to direct the new American Pie movie in 2012, so lets hope for the best.

Why you care

Because the American Pie franchise was funny as hell, and we still crave a little more. We deserve to know what happened to the gang, and does Paul Finch finally end up with Stiffler’s mom?

American Reunion Release Date

April 6th 2012

Starring

Tara Reid, Chris Klein and Mena Suvari all need jobs, and are 100% going to be back. However, we do not expect Shannon Elizabeth to make a return. It was announced the entire cast is indeed back, as Thomas Ian Nicholas has signed on to American Reunion now. Alyson Hannigan, Seann William Scott, Jason Biggs, Tara Reid, Mena Suvari, Chris Klein, Eddie Kaye Thomas and Eugene Levy, who are all set to star in American Reunion, this is now confirmed.

The Good

This will finally put an end to the straight to DVD American Pie films they have released the last 5 years, and lets face it… Pie 1&2 were pretty clever. American Reunion will no doubt bring us all the closure to the characters that many of you wanted.

The Bad

The crude, sexy humor seemed to have left the series near the end, and the decline of Stiffler’s character was abused. We hope they bring the funny back to this brilliant franchise, because ‘Family Reunion’ deserves it.

Our Prediction

American Reunion is going to be great, we can’t wait until April for this. I’ll post the pictures and trailer soon as I get it.
